The mere presence of some people can have a cathartic effect, opening up fresh space in another person's life for them to operate at a higher level in, and then there are those who bring great teaching as well. Kris has both attributes in abundance.
Kris' recent visit to the UK, from his Seattle home, to teach at Grove Martial Arts and Complete Self Protection, left me with a sense that doubt can be healthy, that we should all look to ourselves more - and that knowledge is good while action delivers.
During the days he stayed with me and Louise we spent most of the time in gales of laughter. A magnificent soul.
Spend as much time with your heroes as you can.
